When you contact us

The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, company and a message. Only your name and email are required. When you send it, those details are emailed to us so we can reply.

Along with your message, we receive:

  • how you found this website (for example a search engine, an AI assistant, social media or a link), the page you arrived on, and the pages you read here
  • your approximate city and country, which our hosting provider works out from your internet connection's IP address
  • whether you are using a phone, tablet or computer

This helps us understand what you are interested in before we reply, so we don't have to ask you.

If you start the form but don't send it

If you start filling in the contact form and leave without pressing Send, we may still receive what you typed, along with the details listed above. This only happens once you have entered an email address or phone number. It is sent when you close the page, switch to another tab or app, or go to another page on this site.

We use it only to follow up on your enquiry. If you would rather we didn't, email us and we will delete it.

What is kept in your browser

To know how you found us, this website keeps a small note in your own browser (using local storage, which works like a cookie): the site that sent you here, the page you arrived on, the date of your first visit, how many times you have visited, and the last few pages you read. It stays on your device and is only sent to us if you contact us, as described above. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Other services this website uses

  • Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and keep the site secure. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits, which does not use cookies.
  • Apollo.io, a sales tool, helps us see which companies visit the website, based on the IP address of your internet connection. It may set cookies.
  • Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox, and our email is hosted by Google Workspace.

How we use your details

We use what you send us to reply to you and to talk about working together. We don't sell your details. We keep enquiries in our email for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and keep proper business records.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing luke.kelshall@unlocksecondorder.com. If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
