Pricing and competitor dashboards

Know what your competitors are charging every morning, without anyone checking websites by hand. We collect publicly listed prices, put them alongside yours, and flag the changes that matter.

The Problem

Pricing on guesswork costs more than it looks

In a market the size of Barbados, a small gap in price moves bookings. But checking competitors means someone opening a dozen websites, copying numbers into a spreadsheet, and doing it all again tomorrow. So it gets done irregularly, or not at all.

The result is pricing based on last month's picture - too high when demand is soft, too low when it isn't.

What We Build

What the dashboard gives you

Daily price collection

Publicly listed prices from the competitors you choose, gathered automatically every day.

You against the market

Your prices shown next to theirs - by date, product or room type - so gaps are obvious at a glance.

Alerts when something moves

A message when a competitor drops or raises prices sharply, so you can respond the same day.

Trends over time

A history of how the market moves through the seasons, holidays and big events.

Built around your decisions

We design the view around the pricing calls you actually make, not a generic report.

Simple to read

A clean dashboard you can open on your phone, with no spreadsheets to maintain.

How It Works

From first conversation to running system

01

Agree what to track

Which competitors, which products or dates, and what counts as a meaningful change.

02

Build the collection

We set up reliable daily collection of the prices your competitors publish.

03

Design the dashboard

We build the view around how you set prices, and test it with you.

04

Keep it running

Websites change. We keep the collection working and the numbers accurate.

Our Work

Recent work

Car rental

A car rental company

They couldn't compare prices like for like with rivals and booking sites, which each add different fees and taxes.

We built a dashboard that collects competitor prices twice a week, emails a summary of where they stand, and exports suggested prices into their own rate sheet.

It revealed a seasonal pricing gap that was costing them money.

Our Product

Ratevane

Ratevane, our own hotel rate tracker, checks direct-booking prices at 72 Barbados hotels every day.

Questions

Common questions

Where does the price data come from?

From prices competitors publish openly - on their own websites and the booking sites where they list. We don't access anything that isn't public.

How often is it updated?

Usually daily. Where prices move faster, we can collect more often.

Which businesses is this useful for?

Any business where competitors publish prices that change often - hotels and villas, car rental, tours and activities, and retail.

How long does it take?

Most builds run between 2 and 8 weeks depending on scope. We start with a Second Order Review to map the highest-leverage automations before any implementation.
